Scott convened the meeting at 1:00 with Bob, Tim, and Mary on hand. Soon to arrive and attending her first meeting was Mary Ellen W.
After our usual catch up session was completed members introduced themselves and discussed their gear, photographic interests, post processing software, etc.
Bob stated a balance of $604.75 in the NAPC coffer.
The monthly photo contest topic was photo restoration. Tim garnered top honors for his work in skillfully refurbishing an image of his lovely wife, Mary. Good job, Tim!
Scott discussed the settings on the Lume Cube Panel Pro 2.0 utilizing various PowerPoint slides. Following this, he live demo’d how each setting can change the quality of the emitted light.
Next was a discussion by Scott regarding Rule of Thirds v The Golden Ratio, to include mention of the Fibonacci Sequence and it’s occurrence in art and nature. Excerpts from an applicable video were shown.
Tim is the moderator our August 12th meeting.
Next month’s photo contest topic is ‘Open.’
