Tim convened the meeting at 1:00 pm with Mary, Bill, Bob, Scott, and Joe on hand.  Joe had audio problems that we will resolve prior to the March meeting.

As is our practice, each member described their photo related activities since our last meeting.

Bob reported a treasury balance of $318.67.  It was agreed that membership dues ($35/year) are due in March.  Bob will provide his address via email for check mailing purposes.

Tim displayed a document titled ‘NAPC Future Plans’ which detailed various new activities and suggested member responsibilities.  A copy of that document is included herewith.

This month’s Photo Contest topic was ‘Wide Angle with Prominent Foreground Object’.  A total of 8 skillfully crafted images were presented with Bill emerging as the winner with ‘Rocks Estate’.

Bill then presented information about the various types of Neutral Density Filters and their use.   It was useful to view the same photo with different ND settings.

Tim presented information regarding Graphic Tablets and Pen Tablets.  Graphic Tablets project the image to the tablet and allow direct editing.  Intuos and Huion are popular brands.   Tim then showed videos by Aaron Nace (Phlearn.com) about to how to customize stylus settings.

Scott suggested we associate presentations with field trips.  Eg., after a neutral density filter presentation we go to Cascade Falls. After wide angle lens we visit Coffin Pond.

We will attempt to limit future meetings to 2 hours until such time as we can meet in person.   For the 3/13 meeting we will all post process the same image and discuss what we did to enhance and improve the image.

March presentations will include a photo critique exercise by Scott.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:40.
