Bob convened the meeting at 1:00 with Susan, Judy, Bill, Tim, Mary, and Scott on hand.
Our initial discussion centered on Generated Fill which is found in Photoshop Beta and the recent On1 2023.5 update.
Bob indicated a balance of $604.70 in our treasury.
Scott’s image Pear Blossoms emerged as winner of the monthly NAPC photo contest, topic: High Key
Next was the monthly editing challenge which demonstrated the power of Generative Fill.
Scott demonstrated the steps involved with colorizing an image in Photoshop. This included the use of adjustment layers and the color blend mode.
Bob discussed and demonstrated various menu options in the On1 2023.5 update. Bob also showed videos depicting the eye opening features of Generative Fill and On1 2023.5.
Tim described the benefits and disadvantages of using RAW and provided a useful handout for future reference.
Bob provided members with a choice of Photo Restoration or Freezing Motion for our July photo contest. Members chose Photo Restoration.
Scott will be the moderator for our July 7th meeting.
