A Notch Above Photography Club
Minutes
November 9, 2019
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 PM with the following members present: Tim, Mary, Bob, Bill, Chris, Brooke, John, and Scott. We
were pleased to welcome new members Kelly and Dianne.
As is our usual practice when first time attendees are present each member provided a brief self introduction.
Members viewed Monthly Photo Contest entries with Bill’s pic of the Ice Castles in Lincoln emerging as the runaway winner.
Tim indicated that our subscription to Meetup was due for renewal and members agreed to renew that subscription.
Bob provided the Treasurer’s Report showing a balance of $370.31.
During the past month several individuals with beginner level experience contacted Tim expressing their interest in attending this meeting.
Our meeting agenda included topics for those new to photography.
Bob explained the concepts involved in the “Exposure Triangle.”
Tim’s presentation dealt with “Camera Controls”.
Scott reviewed the previously discussed “PreShoot Checklist” and will revise and update this.
It was decided that the topic for the next Photo Contest would be “Snow or Ice.”
Tim circulated a sign up sheet for members to select discussion topics they’d like to present to the group in the coming months.
At approximately 3:15 the meeting was adjourned with members breaking down into small discussion groups.
