The meeting began at 1:00 with Bob as moderator. Lynn, Mary, Bob, Tim, Scott, and Clay were on hand.
Bob indicated a treasury balance of $852.85
This month’s photo contest topic was Architecture and 12 entries were submitted. Mary garnered top honors with her image “Reconstruction of the Parthenon.”
Next was our monthly edit challenge with members demonstrating their post processing skills.
Next was the “Great October Giveaway.” Chris Dobbins, a prominent local wedding photographer from Easton was kind enough to provide Bob a number of useful camera accessories who then organized a giveaway for NAPC members. These items included grad filters, lights, a camera holster, a camera strap, an intervalometer, and so on. A very special thanks to Chris and Bob for making this happen.
Members then showed images from our October 11 Field Trip and dinner to Jackson Historic Village.
Scott showed images from a photo shoot with John F. to Bedell Bridge State Park. Included was a discussion and comparison of using a Full Frame vs an APS-C sensor.
The photo contest topic for our November 11th meeting is “Four Seasons Group.”
