Minutes
January 10th 2026
Bob began the meeting at 1:00 with Suzy, Lynn, Bill, Mary Ellen, Clay, Charlie, and Scott present.
Each member provided a brief run down of their recent photo related activities and afterwards, Bob Indicated a balance of $995.06 in the club treasury.
Next was voting for our monthly and best photo of the year contest with winning results as follows:
Monthly: Scott, ‘Old House in the Woods’ (topic: Open)
Yearly: Bill, ‘Blue Morning.’ In winning, Bill takes home a $50 Amazon gift certificate.
Following the monthly edit challenge, Bob showed slides to describe head and face swapping in On1 Photo Raw. This prompted a discussion of how AI can negatively impact still and video photography.
Bob led a discussion about suggested agenda changes in 2026. Included were reinstituting the wingman concept and group edits. Additionally, Scott passed out a document which listed various activities for small group photo clubs.
There was some discussion about uploads to our website. Scott will review this process and will update members.
The Photo Contest topic for February is ‘Out of the Camera.’ Entries should be .jpgs with no post processing done.
Our next meeting will be on February 14th
