Scott began the meeting at 1:00 with Lynn, Bill, Bob, Tim, Mary, and Clay on hand.
Following our usual catch up segment Bob reported a Treasury Balance of $978.30
Scott passed around a handout listing various possible alternatives to the Monthly Edit Challenge. We discussed the possibility of asking Chris J. as a guest speaker to show his pics from his tour in Vietnam as a photojournalist. Also mentioned were potential ideas for a field trip during the foliage season.
Next was the Photo Edit Challenge with Tim, Mary, and Scott showing their results.
Scott won the Photo Contest (topic: Wide Angle Lens) with his image of the Swiftwater Covered Bridge.
Scott presented information regarding the NAPC website and discussed the possibility of creating something entirely new. This was met with lukewarm approval with members instead suggesting a few content changes and updates might be a better idea. Scott will check on the NAPC Facebook account and update as necessary. Also mentioned were several webhosting services which might be a less costly alternative to Bluehost.
The Photo Contest topic for September will be Black and White. Scott passed out a document which detailed the various ways to capture and/or post process a b/w image.
