Scott began the meeting at 1:05 with Lynn, Bill, Bob, Tim, Mary, and Clay on hand.

Following our catch-up session, we discussed Bill’s comments regarding monthly Photo Contest topics and making this more of a learning experience.

Bob indicated a treasury balance of $938.30 which includes recent membership dues payments.

Next was the Photo Contest, topic Complimentary Colors, in which Scott’s image, ‘Clematis in Bloom,’ garnered top honors.

Members then displayed post processing results for two images while mentioning the steps involved.

Scott shared an email attempt from someone asking that we place a link on napc.com for her Boy Scout son.  It was determined this was a fraudulent attempt to optimize website search engine results.

Scott discussed the possibility of inviting photographer, K.  Johnson, to be a guest speaker at a future meeting.

Scott then presented Power Pont Slides which listed various considerations in critiquing an image.  This was followed by a slide presentation from Jack Graham (jackgrahamphoto.com) titled “Become an Artist… Not Just a Photographer.”

Next followed a video by Andy Hutchinson titled “One Universal Workflow for any Raw Editor.”

The Photo Contest topic for May will be ‘Bokeh.’
